   Diffusion: Diffusion is the movement of particles from a region of higher concentration to a region of lower concentration.
   Every day example is how smell of perfume moves from where it is sprayed to nearby places.

   Properties of a good electrical conductor:
   – High electrical conductivity.
   – Low electrical resistance.

   Simple periscope working: A simple periscope uses two mirrors placed parallel to each other at a 45-degree angle to allow viewing of objects obstructed by a direct line of sight. Light from the object reflects off the top mirror downwards to the bottom mirror, which then reflects it to the viewer’s eye.

   Negative impacts of deforestation:
   Loss of biodiversity and habitat destruction.
   Increased soil erosion and flooding.

   Role of decomposers: Decomposers (like bacteria and fungi) break down dead organic matter, releasing essential nutrients back into the soil for producers/ plants to use.
